Dial just as you do from your mobile phone in the country of origin.
Is it possible to send and receive text messages via Skuku?
Yes. Sending messages is exactly the same as sending them from your mobile. Under the “SMS” category select the “New” option. Enter the phone number or name of the contact, write the message and press SEND.
What is the length of the message?
Total 490 characters. Note: Messages of more than 160 characters are divided into separate messages and will be billed according to the number of messages sent.
How do I receive text messages?
The messages are received on the softphone software. Upon receiving the message a window appears showing the telephone number or name of the contact person.
What does the receivier see on their mobile phone when I send a message?
The message is received on the mobile exactly like it was sent from your personal mobile.
How do I make a call to another Skuku user?
“Skuku to Skuku” calls are very easy to make – just type in the user-name of the Skuku friend you want to call.
What happens if during a call, I receive another call?
In the present version there is no support for receiving another call during an on-going conversation. Our next version will support this capability.
It is possible to hold a conference call?
The present version has no support for a conference call. In the next version we will support this possibility.
Is it possible to dial to emergency services (Police, ambulance and so on)?
It is important to remember ,it is impossible to dial to any emergency services (Police, ambulance and so on) with skuku.
